Tasted from Barrel: The 2017 was fermented with 337 clones from Tor’s rows in the back of the vineyard and is once again nothing short of absolutely stunning. This gorgeous Cabernet opens to remarkable perfumed aromatics of fresh ripe blackberries and dark currants woven together with graphite, violets and a touch of sweet pipe tobacco. On the palate this full-bodied Cabernet displays remarkable depth with a gorgeous inner sweetness and outstanding concentration. Rich and beautifully polished, this continues to deliver loads of incredibly pure ripe dark fruits which envelop the palate and linger through the long finish. Once again this is an absolute gem from Tor which will certainly have a tremendous future ahead.
