Jean honed his skills at prestigious wineries in Bordeaux, Burgundy, and South Africa before bringing his talent to Napa Valley. As the former winemaker for Alpha Omega and now a sought-after consultant for elite brands such as The Debate and AXR and Harbison, Hoefliger combines Old World techniques with New World precision to create wines of exceptional complexity and balance while while maintaining a deep respect for the unique characteristics of each vineyard. Hoefliger’s wines consistently garner critical acclaim, reflecting his passion for innovation and commitment to excellence in every bottle.

Maayan Koschitzky has built an exceptional winemaking career, beginning in the vineyards of Israel and advancing to iconic Napa Valley estates such as Screaming Eagle and Dalla Valle, where he worked alongside some of the industry’s most renowned winemakers and explored some of the world’s most prestigious terroirs. In 2014, he joined Atelier Melka, where he is now the Director of Winemaking. With a background in engineering and extensive experience in both vineyard management and winemaking, Maayan plays a versatile role at Atelier Melka. He contributes not only to crafting exceptional wines and managing operations but also to designing and implementing winery development projects for clients, showcasing his innovative approach and technical prowess.
