Mike Smith is a respected and accomplished winemaker based in Napa Valley, known for producing some of the region’s most highly regarded wines. He has built a reputation for his expertise in crafting wines that showcase both the elegance and intensity of Napa’s terroir. Smith is especially well known for his work with Cabernet Sauvignon, but his portfolio also includes other varietals such as Merlot, Chardonnay, and Syrah.
His main venture, Myriad Cellars, is a boutique winery that has garnered a dedicated following for its rich, full-bodied wines that retain both power and finesse. Under this label, Mike crafts wines that are highly sought after by collectors. In addition to Myriad, Smith also makes wine under several other labels, including Quivet Cellars and Perchance, and is involved in consulting for several top Napa producers.

Maayan Koschitzky has built an exceptional winemaking career, beginning in the vineyards of Israel and advancing to iconic Napa Valley estates such as Screaming Eagle and Dalla Valle, where he worked alongside some of the industry’s most renowned winemakers and explored some of the world’s most prestigious terroirs. In 2014, he joined Atelier Melka, where he is now the Director of Winemaking. With a background in engineering and extensive experience in both vineyard management and winemaking, Maayan plays a versatile role at Atelier Melka. He contributes not only to crafting exceptional wines and managing operations but also to designing and implementing winery development projects for clients, showcasing his innovative approach and technical prowess. Maayan is also the proprietor of his own label, La Pelle, which produces exceptional wines crafted from both single-vineyard sites and broader appellation blends, showcasing some of the finest expressions of Napa Valley’s diverse terroir.
