The 2012 Bedrock 'Lorenzo's Heritage' is sourced from a vineyard located in the Dry Creek Valley in Sonoma. The wine is a blend of 60% Zinfandel and 25% Carignane, as well as Petite Sirah, Alicante Bouschet, Cinsault, Valdigue and a few other varietals. Dense and distinctly driving towards red fruit on the nose there are bramble, red cherry, dill and ripe strawberry aromatic accents. There is gorgeous minerality to this wine, as red cherries, cedar, wild blackberry and stewed strawberry flavors expand through the finish. This is delicious and difficult to resist at this juncture.
