Sourced from the Panek Vineyard in Northern St. Helena, this fantastic 100% Clone 337 Cabernet Sauvignon was aged 33 Months in oak. The result is a fabulous wine which offers aromatics of ripe blackberries, red currants, spring florals, graphite and minerals all bursting from the glass. On the palate this possesses a full-bodied frame, with outstanding overall structure and balance. Beautifully polished tannins are framed by lovely underlying acidity leading up to the long, precise finish. An utterly delicious Cabernet from Jeff Ames which is already showing remarkably well.
