The 2016 Sinegal Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a monumental wine, which is composed of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Malbec and 7% Petit Verdot. It begins with absolutely stunning aromas of ripe blackberries and dark currants, woven together with graphite, violets, spices, tobacco, dried sage and hints of crushed cocoa bean all bursting from the glass. On this palate this is full-bodied and generous, with beautifully polished tannins as well as outstanding overall structure and balance. It continues to impress with its striking freshness, purity and precision all the way through the long supple finish. Winemaker Ryan Knoth has pushed this Cabernet to the limits of perfection, and while it is already nearly impossible to resist, there is no doubt it will also go on to have a brilliant future ahead.
