It’s aged for 22 months in 100% new French oak barrels. The 2019 Rockpile Ridge sports aromas of crushed blackberries, wild blueberries, fresh spearmint, dusty country road, sweet tobacco, new leather, new steel, chocolate froth, and crushed rock. Gorgeous in the glass, exuding a dark purple core with a light neon pink rim in the glass, it’s impeccably balanced with lush, sweet tannins, perfected acidity, and an extraordinary finish that goes on for ages. Enjoy this now with a nice decant or over the next 15-20 years with proper cellaring. Highly recommended.
