The 2014 Van der Kamp Vineyard Pinot Noir from La Pitchoune opens to inviting aromas of dark cherries and raspberries laced with exotic spices, tar and citrus, all soaring from the glass. On the palate this is focused, balanced and well-defined, with flavors of red fruits and wild herbs. This Pinot Noir continues to impress with its depth and elegant finish. Overall, this is a lovely effort, which will continue to drink well with some bottle age.
