ADELSHEIM, Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley 2021

Absolutely gorgeous in the glass, the ruby core literally sparkles. The wine glides over the tongue. It’s so easy to drink now despite being so young, but this is typical of the vintage. Red berries, ground cinnamon spice, touches of dark chocolate, dried herbs, and dried purple flower tones merge together perfectly in the glass. Tannins are rounded and supple, acidity falls on the medium level, and it has a lovely earth and red-fruit-driven finish. It’s much better than the large production of bottles, and its price point suggests. 16,653 cases were made.
