On first blush, the nose gives generous aromas of red plum, black raspberry and ground espresso powder. The palate is lovely and has generous flavors of black cherry, blackberry, cinnamon stick and just a tiny amount of citrus oil. It’s very well balanced and punches well above its weight class. It’s a beautifully crafted wine for the price point.
