The 'Grand Cheval' is one of the unique wines made in the Pacific Northwest, combining Oregon Pinot Noir and Seven Hills Vineyard Syrah sourced from the Walla Walla Valley. Deeply colored once in the glass the wine shows marvelous smoky aromatics that combine with ripe red fruits and sagebrush undertones. The palate unveils a wonderfully smooth texture, revealing ripe red and dark fruits with a touch of milk chocolate and nutmeg. While wonderfully bright in its youth, this will only get better as it evolves over the next fifteen years.
