This 95% blend of Cabernet Franc, with the rest consisting of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, rests 22 months in French oak with 41% being new. Showing an alluring deep ruby and with purple specks in the glass, this 100% Cabernet Franc from the Horse Heaven Hills AVA explodes with an expressive nose of black raspberry, violet petals and a hint of green bell pepper (in a good way.) The tannins are chalky with pronounced flavors of ripe black cherry, boysenberry, green peppercorn and freshly tilled soil. Give this a few years in bottle before drinking for the tannins to integrate. 128 cases produced.
