A Pinot Noir that comes from estate grapes surrounding the tasting room and winery, this wine is aged for 10 months prior to bottling in 31% new French oak barrels. More blueberry and marionberry dominant on the nose, than red or black fruit, it also delivers aromas of smokey oak spices, crushed black slate and tilled earth. Tannins are grippy and prominent in the mouth and the blackberry-dominant flavor is complemented with cinnamon pie crust and black tea secondary characteristics. The wine definitely needs a few years in bottle to fully come together. 363 cases produced.
