Spending 12 months in French oak barrels, with 32% being new, this Pinot Noir saw 22% whole cluster fermentation, giving it some much needed structure during this cooler vintage. The nose is the shining star on this wine with aromas red cherry pie, pink peppercorn, dried mint, and jasmine. The palate is more savory and lean, with medium plus acidity and darker juicy fruits, Sandalwood, and a hint of red grapefruit showing, along with some nice spiciness coming from the oak aging. 1020 cases produced.
