I love Pinot from the Shea Vineyards, and the Sunu 2021 Shea-East Hill is phenomenal. Producing a glowing medium ruby-garnet core with a watery rim in the glass, there are shades of crushed white peppercorn hidden among the lovely cherry and raspberry fruit flavors and forest herbs tones. Lemony acidity helps bring everything together alongside the firm but integrated sweet tannins and the medium-bodied finish that goes on for minutes. Editor’s choice.
