This impressive wine was sourced from the Seven Hills Vineyard and the Figgins Vineyard. It is a blend of 63% Cabernet Sauvignon with smaller portions Merlot and Petit Verdot. Made from James Frey of Trisatum Winery, this red blend begins with aromatics of cloves, black cherry, black olive and sagebrush. The mouthfeel is plush, as lively flavors of red cherry, Hoisin sauce, wild blackberry and crushed mint entice. This is impressive stuff from this warm vintage. Be sure to give this wine at least a one hour decant prior to enjoying. (Best 2017-2030) - July, 2017 (OB)
