The lovely Baba Yaga from Andrew Januik is a Cabernet Sauvignon that sports a medium to dark ruby-garnet core with a lighter purple rim in the glass. Dusty black fruits, cassis, tobacco leaves, minty herbs, and wet earth are all present and wonderfully integrated. Tannins are a bit crunchy but well in balance with the fruit and earthiness of the finish. Better in 2025 and then enjoy for the next decade or longer. Highly recommended.
