Showcasing a light lemon-gold core with a watery rim, the 2022 Roussanne from Balboa is aged entirely in neutral French oak barrels. Notes of honey-coated green pear, white nectarine, and shades of citrus and herbs are present alongside flavors of wet white clay and dried sage. Full-bodied across the tongue it ends with a pear fruit and bitter herb finish. Only 70 cases produced.
