The 2015 Tempranillo Reserve from Trouvére spends 11 months in both French and American oak. The nose bursts with blue fruits, Mexican chocolate, and a touch of Indian spices. Flavors of concentrated strawberry melt into lucious baking spices, while the lingering acid keeps the palate juicy and fresh. Cocoa notes dance throughout while the tannins slowly build for a long and lively finish. A very interesting and complex wine coming from Oregon that you normally don’t see. Only 253 cases produced.
