Tasted across several days in youth this wine shows smokey, blackberry, plum with a lovely balance of soft tannin and prominent acid. Over time the wine evolves into savory smoked meat with increased fruit sweetness, a little bit of herbaceous flavor, cola, and bitter chicory.
