The 2015 Sunshine Valley Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the most compelling wines from Alpha Omega in this vintage. The vineyard is located just south of the town of Yountville located in Oak Knoll. This wine bursts open with a complex range of intoxicating aromatics including crème de cassis, dark currants, spring floral, anise, and tar all soaring from the glass. It impresses with a stunning combination of power and finesse, with beautifully polished tannins and a rich mouthful of milk chocolate, mocha, anise and crème de cassis flavors which deeply penetrate the mid-palate and linger effortlessly on the finish. While this Cabernet is extremely captivating, it is ultimately an age-worthy wine which will thrive in the cellar.
