The 2017 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is composed of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon with 3% Cabernet Franc, 2% Merlot and 1% Petit Verdot. It begins with aromas of blackberries and black cherries which are woven together with violets, loam, dark chocolate and sweet spices. On the palate this is medium to full-bodied with velvety tannins and wonderful overall balance ending with gorgeous seamless finish that lingers. Overall, this is a beautifully made Cabernet from Winemaker Jean Hoefliger that should evolve for over a decade.
