The 2016 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a fantastic release from Stags’ Leap. On the nose this showcases a bouquet of dark fruits with sweet pipe tobacco, leather and damp earth. The palate reveals a wonderful freshness and tension, as dark fruits connect with chocolate, roasted figs and lovely earthy tones. This Cabernet should go on to evolve nicely over the next decade, however if approaching early on be sure to give this plenty of air contact to open up.
