The 2016 Sunshine Valley Vineyard is another fantastic release from Alpha Omega in this vintage. This 100% Cabernet starts off with seductive aromas of blueberries and crème de cassis woven together with violets, sweet spices, sage, leather and dusty minerals. On the palate this is full-bodied with a gorgeous rich texture and a round voluptuous mouthfeel. It shows wonderful overall balance and concentration with velvety layers of ripe dark fruits, spices and loam flavors leading up to the long supple finish. This Cabernet is absolutely outstanding now and should also offer a drinking window that spans well over a decade.
