The Del Dotto 'Rutherford Estate The David' is a stunning wine from this storied Napa Valley estate. This Cabernet Sauvignon includes a touch of Cabernet Franc and Merlot blended in. It begins with wonderful black tea and mocha aromatics combined with crème de cassis and a touch of red bell pepper. The palate displays wonderful freshness, weight and intensity with red and dark fruits underlined with a nice touch of acidity. Structured, focused and intense, this is drinking marvelously right now and should go to to age beautifully.
