The 2015 Insignia is a simply stunning wine in this vintage, made from 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petit Verdot, 2% Cabernet Franc and 1% Malbec. This majestic wine instantly opens to seductive aromatics of ripe black currants and dark cherries, woven together with spices, graphite, herbs and a beautiful touch of well integrated oak, all coming together to make this nearly impossible to resist. On this palate this full-bodied red continues to thoroughly impress with its remarkable structure, concentration and poise. The beautifully polished tannins make for a luxurious mouthfeel as this works its way into the long, supple finish. This is an absolutely remarkable wine which will thrive in the cellar and has the makeup to ultimately become an all-time classic Insignia.
