The Caduceus Barbera is a limited production offering as part of their Velvet Slippers Club. It is sensational right out of the gate, with aromas of dark cherry, blackberry, and licorice, along with notes of black pepper, truffle, green herbs and dried flowers. There is a medium plus body with beautifully round and polished tannins coupled with a juicy core that is underlined by lovely acidity. While this is already very compelling, it should evolve gracefully over the next 7-10 years
