The 2017 Sensei is 100% Sagrantino grown at 3,400 feet elevation. It displays an aromatic profile of pressed red flowers black cherries, lavender, wild violets along side hints of leather and crushed stone. This is an elegant medium bodied red, with sharp tannins and fantastic structure in the mid-palate, before progressing into a long finish. Although beautiful today, this will benefit from a minimum of 2-3 years of bottle age and last well over a decade.
