The 2022 Pocket Full of Shells Reserve Sauvignon Blanc displays a glowing light lemon-gold core with a water rim. It starts off with notes of gooseberry, freshly struck flint, toasted almonds, crushed oyster shells, crushed wet stone with additional aspects of apricot peel and grapefruit pith, and white potpourri. The palate is much leaner than the nose, with lemony acidity and a full-bodied mouthfeel. Even better enjoyed with a charcuterie plate. Just 80 cases made.
