Aged four months on the lees in all neutral French oak barrels, about 15% of the wine was allowed to go through malolactic fermentation to give it some added body and backbone. Lovely tropical fruit notes start things off, but then aromas and flavors of gooseberry, white nectarine, dried banana, and wet stone salinity take hold. A lovely saline finish completes the wine.
