The 2014 Lutum Pinot Noir from Bien Nacido is simply stunning. This gorgeous Pinot offers exotic aromas of black cherry, forest floor, red currant, raspberry, fresh ground coffee, sweet spices and spring flowers which all take shape beautifully in the glass. It possesses remarkable depth and balance along with wonderful, purity and complexity. It continues to deliver fresh minerals, red fruits, exotic spices which mark the long, silky finish. A fantastic effort from winemaker Gavin Chanin and I expect this to continue to show well and age gracefully over the next decade plus. (Best 2017-2029) - May, 2016 (MD)
