Boasting a light lemon core with a watery rim in the glass, the 2021 Bien Nacido Estate Chardonnay is aged for 16 months in 45% new French oak barrels. Despite the long aging in new oak, this Chardonnay brings forth light aromas of saline, bright lemon oil, wet white clay, green apple, and shades of dried thyme. Refreshing and bright on the palate, it pops with lemony acidity, a long finish, and lovely citrus and earth notes on the back palate. About 500 cases produced.
