The Knox Alexander Pinot Noir is a fantastic showing from Jim Clendenen, who utilizes fruit from top lots out of his Estate vineyard, Le Bon Climat and Bien Nacido Vineyard. The wine has a beautiful nose, with aromas of wild cherry, red currant, berries, loam, forest floor and exotic spice. On the palate this is has a silky soft tannins and a gorgeous elegant texture, with a core of beautiful red fruits, earth and spice flavors. Delicious today, but ultimately a wine that will hit its peak in 2-4 years and drink well for 10-15 years.
