The 2020 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon from Ambassador checks in with 77% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Malbec which doesn’t add up to 100% but that is what was on the technical sheets. It’s aged for 22 months in just 15% French new oak to allow the purity of the fruit to shine forth. Boasting a stunning deep purple and ruby core with a light purple rim, and notes of crushed blackberry, blue plum, sweet tobacco, cedary herbs, and dusty country road. Tangy acidity compliments the sweet tannins and black-fruit-dominated finish. 325 cases produced.
