The 2018 Estate Cabernet from Corliss spends 23 months in 75% new French oak barrels. Featuring a dark purple and pomegranate molasses core with a medium purple rim in the glass, it brings forth notes of crushed blackberries, blue plum, lilac flowers, cedary herbs, and scorched tobacco leaves. Impeccably made with tremendous balance, purity, and tension, it finishes perfectly balanced with a long earth and black fruit ending. Enjoy this one for the next 20 years or so with proper cellaring. Better in 2024. About 865 cases were made of this stunning wine. Highly recommended.
