One of my favorite wines from the 2018 lineup of Ambassador wines, this blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petit Verdot is aged in 22 months in 75% new French oak barrels. Please give this wine a few hours to open up and breathe and you will be richly rewarded with stunning aromas of bramble, blackberry pie, fresh mint, ground cloves, pencil shavings and dried lavender. It is medium bodied that carries fantastic juicy acidity and polished tannins, along with flavors of boysenberry, dark chocolate, wet earth, tobacco leaf and vanilla bean carry the wine into a long, juicy finish that goes on for minutes. Only 200 cases produced.
