A combination of 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 7% Petit Verdot with the remainder Cabernet Franc is aged in 73% new French oak and 20% new American oak for 22 months. Expressing medium to dark ruby in the glass, it delivers black plum, blueberry, menthol and some toasted fennel seed on the nose. Beautiful acidity and chewy tannin mix with blackberry jam, dried tobacco leaf and charred baking spices on the palate. Needs another year in bottle to settle down before enjoying this delicious blend.
