Coming from some of the most beloved Red Mountain vineyards, this blend of 84% Cabernet Sauvgninon, 10% Merlot with the remainder Petit Verdot, Syrah and Malbec spends 20 months in French oak barrels, with 40% being new. The wine reveals a dense ruby-purple hue as well as a powerful bouquet of boysenberry, blueberry, toasted tree nuts and oaky notes. This Cabernet is rich and full in the mouth, nicely concentrated, medium-plus bodied, and wonderfully structured. The tannins need another year in bottle to settle down, then drink this over the next 8 years or more.
