Aged in for 6 months in 65% new French oak, this Bordeaux-style Sauvingon Blanc from Red Mountain supplies gooseberry, candied pineapple, lime zest and raw cashews. The oak aging delivers a nice round mouthfeel and supple texture to the wine and the high acidity brings the gorgeous fruit front and center. One of the better Sauvignon Blancs I have tasted from Washington. Highly recommended.
