Wine from Red Mountain at a $25 price point is hard to come by, but this blend of 93% Cabernet Sauvignon and 7% Petit Verdot is barrel aged for 18 months in 67% new American oak and brings great value for the money. Deep purple with a ruby rim in the glass, this fresh and lively wine gives blackberry, baked sugar cookie, wild sagebrush, toasted coconut and espresso notes. It finishes with chewy tannins and medium acidity and delivers a simple but long lasting finish.
