Checking in at 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, 7% Petit Verdot, with the remainder of Malbec and Cabernet Franc, the 2018 10,000 Hours Red Blend is aged in 18 months in 50% New American Oak. It has a creamy mouthfeel, beautiful balance with components of candied black plum, red and black cherry, melted milk chocolate, dried dill and a touch of toasted unsweetened coconut. Balanced in texture, acidity, structure and purity of fruit is wonderful. This is a fantastic wine for the price point that should age well for the next 8-10 years.
