A Red Mountain Cabernet with just a smidgeon of Petit Verdot added, is aged for 18 months in 85% new American oak barrels, which gives these wines a different characteristic than other Red Mountain Cabs. Jammed packed full of baked black-fruit and toasted-spice aromas and flavors at the beginning of the palate, it finishes long with a great balance of savory herbs, leather, toast and bright acidity.
