CORLISS Red Wine, Red Mountain 'Estate' 2016

Deep violet colored in the glass with a ruby rim, this blend of 69% Cabernet Franc, 28% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Petit Verdot that is aged in approximately 65% new French oak. Beautifully structured on the nose and on the palate, this wine delivers aromas of black cherry, blackberry liqueur, smoked cinnamon stick, potpourri and scorched tobacco leaf. The palate is wonderfully balanced with flavors of black cherry, wet crushed gravel, iodine and mocha combining with medium acidity and silky tannins. This one will celler beautifully for the next 10-15 years. Highly recommended.
