The nose on the 2018 Efeste Estate Cabernet Franc opens with distinctive, but light green pepper notes followed by aromas of fresh black raspberry and dark plums. Chewy but silky tannins marry with bright ripe red fruits, chambord liqueur, and an iron-like minerality. This wine ends with a profound and lasting finish, leaving you wanting more. Very impressive new wine from Mark Fiore that will age for a decade or more.
