100% hand-snipped and fermented in amphora, the 2021 Shea Pinot Noir sports a medium neon ruby core with a silvery rim in the glass. A treat on the nose, starting off with wonderful fruit-forward aromas of crushed red cherries and mountain blueberries, it quickly develops more secondary characteristics of dried violets, melted chocolate, crushed autumn leaves, and shades of iron and dried thyme. Complex and wonderfully structured, it finishes with rounded sweet tannins, immaculate acidity, and a lush, lengthy finish. 78 cases produced. Highly recommended.
