The 2019 Yamhill Cuvée is a bit shy on the nose and on the palate, so make sure to give this some time in the decanter before enjoying, or wait a few years to open. After 20 minutes, aromas and flavors start to appear - fresh raspberry, dried cranberry, pine needle, pencil shavings, and dried earth are all present in the glass. On the palate, you are greeted with a red-fruit and bitter herb finish. Better in 2024.
