An outstanding Chardonnay that is aged for 22 months in ⅓ new French oak puncheon and neutral barrique. Day Wines is the only non-estate winery to receive a small allocation from the Belle Pente Vineyard. Very floral driven on the palate, with additional components that include fresh apricot, white peach, dried banana, lemony herbs, white mushroom, and crushed wet stone. The restrained acidity, and the full body of the wine, coat the tongue and give way to an oily and exotic finish that goes on for minutes.
