Aged for about a year in 30% new French oak barrels, this single-vineyard Pinot Noir from the Kalita Vineyard is phenomenally good. It’s a bit richer than some of the other 2019s I’ve had from Divio, with aspects of blueberry compote, rhubarb, black cherry, fresh tar, pencil shavings dried wildflower, and a touch of leather. Sweet baking spices and cedary herbs complement mouthwatering acidity and silky smooth tannins.
