KEN WRIGHT CELLARS Pinot Noir, Yamhill-Carlton, Savoya Vineyard 2018

Coming from 20-year vines of the Savoya Vineyard in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, this expressive wine explodes on the nose with notes of tart red and dark cherry, milk chocolate, eucalyptus and toasted cinnamon. The palate is a bit tight with racy acidity, fine but present tannins and beautiful ripe red fruit flavors, fresh red flower petals and toasted vanilla notes. This wine is young and needs another year or two to fully develop in bottle.
