PENNER-ASH Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley 2016

This excellent Pinot Noir from Penner-Ash was largely aged in neutral oak for ten months prior to bottling. The wine shows bright aromas of red cherry, cigar box and hints of blood orange with lovely earthy undertones. Fresh and light on its feet, this unveils medium bodied red fruit flavors with a touch of wet stone and damp earth. Delicious now, yet this should continue to develop beautifully over the next decade .
