I loved the 2019 Arcus Vineyard Pinot Noir from Cristom. The light neon ruby core with a silvery rim showcases the wine beautifully in the glass. Notes of red strawberry, Bing cherry, watermelon, toasted cinnamon stick, pink peppercorn, and melted milk chocolate are front and center. The palate is leaner than the nose, with tart acidity, silky tannins, and a lengthy red-fruit finish that goes on for minutes. Incredibly balanced and delicious. Enjoy this one now with a few hours in the decanter, or enjoy it over a decade or more.
